Steve’s Hot Dogs Third Annual Labor Day Hot Dog Eating Contest

A Portion of the Proceeds Will Go to Feed the People in St. Louis

Join us at Steve’s Hot Dogs - home of the OFFICIAL hot dog of St. Louis Labor Day Hot Dog Eating Contest! Our third annual hot dog eating competition will be held at our Delmar location on Sunday August 31 at 1:00 pm. The winners of the contest will go home with a variety of cash and prizes.

Contestants must be over 18 years of age to participate and will have 10 minutes to consume as many of the hot dogs (including buns) as they can. Contestants will eat as many of Steve’s smoked and grilled all beef Hot Dogs (5 to 1 size) on Companion Bakery buns as they can in 10 minutes.

Registration is open for up to 15 people to participate. There is a $20 entry fee to participate. Entry fees will be split between the prize pool and Steve’s Hot Dogs Feed the People fund, which provides meals for people in need in the St. Louis community.

The 1st Prize Winner will receive $100 in cash, plus a Steve’s Hot Dogs hat, a bottle of Steve’s Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce and a First Place Hot Dog Trophy!

The 2nd Prize Winner will receive $50 in cash and a bottle of Steve’s Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce.

The 3rd Prize Winner will receive a $25 Gift Card and a bottle of Steve’s Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce.

All winners will have their pictures added to the Steve’s Hot Dogs Wall of Fame at our Delmar Location, 5248 Delmar Blvd! For the first time, THE FIRST PLACE WINNER will also receive a special edition, custom trophy to take home.
