Reports to: Owners/Partners

Supervises: Restaurant staff and shift managers

Steve’s Hot Dogs is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our Tower Grove location, and to help helm the expansion and growth of the brand to new locations. Steve's Hot Dogs prides itself on a fun, fast-paced environment - and is known for its creative culinary collaborations with other local food brands. We are seeking a leader who will embody our creative, community-driven brand as they help us to lead our locations, and grow our business.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Fully managing the Tower Grove location - overseeing the various teams and day-to-day operations.

  • Maximizing profitability and solidify processes to ensure that the Tower Grove location is the model for future locations.

  • Lead the Processes team in development of an employee training program.

  • Lead, inspire and motivate employees to perform to their highest potential.

  • Standardize processes for ordering and inventory.

  • Oversee scheduling.

  • Empower employees to lead & excel, once they have been trained & cross-trained appropriately.

  • Standardize recipes & implement a portion control program.

  • Assist ownership in opening of future locations and supervision of restaurant management at each location.

Experience, Skill & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Availability to work some evenings and weekends, required. May also be assigned to day shifts as needed.

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the food industry with at least 2 years food & beverage management experience, and a proven track record of success with increasing responsibility.

  • Ability to lead, motivate & inspire with positivity

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with managing inventory and cost control is required

  • Food safety knowledge, ServSafe certification preferred.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices is required

  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of planning and forecasting

  • Must be able to use relevant computer applications (Square POS, Google Docs, Google Sheets or equivalent)

  • Experience with management of DoorDash, Grubhub and Postmates is a plus.
