5pm-6pm: Garrett and Stacy Enloe - Mississippi Nights: Dive into the rich music history of the iconic Mississippi Nights venue with authors Garrett and Stacy Enloe. Their book, Mississippi Nights: A History of The Music Club in St. Louis, chronicles the 30-year run of the legendary music club, featuring stories and photos of legendary acts like The Police, Nirvana, and local favorites like The Urge (shoutout to Steve Ewing!) and Story of the Year. Did you know that Steve's Hot Dogs is decked out in Mississippi Nights show posters? It's the perfect backdrop for this book talk!

6pm-7pm: DJ Lance Rock: Lance Robertson (of Yo Gabba Gabba! fame) will be spinning records between events.

7pm-8pm: Ron Stevens and Joy Grdnic - True Radio Stories: Stick around for the 7pm session with Ron Stevens and Joy Grdnic, authors of True Radio Stories. This hilarious collection of behind-the-scenes tales from St. Louis's favorite radio personalities will have you laughing out loud. As the original founder of Midtown's Art Deco oasis, The Fountain on Locust, Joy Grdnic brings her signature style to this book, which boasts "no fooling, actual, real" stories from the wild world of radio. One reviewer raved, "If you grew up in STL, you'll love this book... hilarious and touching!"

As local business owners in the Delmar Maker District, our entire HuSTL Hospitality team has been hard at work with our neighbors at Delmar Main Street working to help our community recover since the May 16th tornado. The next step is a public art project that we hope will bring some healing and hope to the neighborhood.

We're organizing a special community art project “Paint the Way Home” to bring hope and color back to one the areas most affected by the storm. We're looking for talented volunteer artists – that means you! – to help us transform 29 large boards and/or doors we’ve identified along Delmar. Imagine turning those temporary fixes into powerful visual messages of hope and our collective commitment to rebuilding together.

This isn't just about covering damage; it's about creating a powerful visual message of hope and our unwavering commitment to rebuilding together. We're excited to offer this unique opportunity for artists of all styles and experience levels to contribute to our recovery efforts and showcase their talent within a supportive community environment. And don't worry about supplies – we'll provide everything you need!

Here are the details:

• What: Artists will paint boards to beautify the Delmar Maker District. The public is invited to come watch. Artists MUST RSVP here as there are limited spots available.

• When: Saturday, September 6th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

• Where: Legacy Plaza East, 5229 Delmar Blvd, right here in the Delmar Maker District.

• Why: To infuse our district with hope, renewal, and community strength following the tornado.

Spaces are limited to just 29 artists, so if you're interested in being a part of this inspiring project, please register as soon as possible. It's first-come, first-served!

If you're a fan of "Napoleon Dynamite," you won't want to miss this event happening on Wed, September 3 from 5-7pm at The District in Chesterfield!

Steve's Hot Dogs is hosting a Napoleon Dynamite Bash, hosted by Liv Maddix of 105.7 The Point, where you can dine on specialty TOT Dogs created just for the event (we all know Napoleon loves his tots), get your photo with a real llama, participate in the Napoleon lookalike contest and play trivia for a chance to win tickets to the upcoming movie event coming to the Factory later this Fall.

The Bash is in anticipation of the October 9th movie event at the Factory where Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez and Jon Gries will be in attendance! Come by for a chance to win free tickets! 

Join us at Steve’s Hot Dogs - home of the OFFICIAL hot dog of St. Louis Labor Day Hot Dog Eating Contest! Our third annual hot dog eating competition will be held at our Delmar location on Sunday August 31 at 1:00 pm. The winners of the contest will go home with a variety of cash and prizes.

Contestants must be over 18 years of age to participate and will have 10 minutes to consume as many of the hot dogs (including buns) as they can. Contestants will eat as many of Steve’s smoked and grilled all beef Hot Dogs (5 to 1 size) on Companion Bakery buns as they can in 10 minutes.

Registration is open for up to 15 people to participate. There is a $20 entry fee to participate. Entry fees will be split between the prize pool and Steve’s Hot Dogs Feed the People fund, which provides meals for people in need in the St. Louis community.

The 1st Prize Winner will receive $100 in cash, plus a Steve’s Hot Dogs hat, a bottle of Steve’s Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce and a First Place Hot Dog Trophy!

The 2nd Prize Winner will receive $50 in cash and a bottle of Steve’s Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce.

The 3rd Prize Winner will receive a $25 Gift Card and a bottle of Steve’s Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce.

All winners will have their pictures added to the Steve’s Hot Dogs Wall of Fame at our Delmar Location, 5248 Delmar Blvd! For the first time, THE FIRST PLACE WINNER will also receive a special edition, custom trophy to take home.
