Q: What Type of Events Do You Typically Cater?
A: The Steve’s Hot Dogs food truck caters to corporate lunches, private events, birthday parties, street fairs, festivals, and more. We’re often a popular pick for fun late night wedding bites!

You can book us Festival-Style where we sell items - but we will have a $1200 minimum (deposit required to hold) for any event with a max of 3-4 hours (1 hour of prep and 2-3 hours of service).

You can book us catering-style where you pre-pay for all items served.

Q: What is the Deposit?
A $250 non-refundable event fee is due immediately to secure the date for events with the Truck. Catering events require a 50% deposit.

Q: How Does It Work?
A: We will pull up to your location and get to work. We typically arrive 1 hour before start time and offer 2-3 hours of service for a total of 3-4 hours. Your guests can walk up to the truck, order what they want from a pre-arranged menu, and you get to relax knowing your guests are getting a hot, fresh, cooked to order meal. If you prefer an inside experience, we can also provide drop-off catering options.

Q: How Far in Advance Should We Book?
A: The sooner you book, the better. We book events year round and the Steve’s Hot Dogs food truck is often booked for regional festivals and fairs. Our summer schedule fills up pretty quick once summer hits, while off-season events may be easier to secure. We will get inquires for multiple events on the same day. Even if you have received an estimate, your date is not secured and booking is not guarantee until the deposit is paid. If possible, please provide us with multiple date options in the notes section of the form to help us find a date that works best for all parties.

Q: What Happens If Our Event Extends Beyond 3-4 Hours?
A: If your event is catered, you will be billed at the hourly rate stated in the contract (typically $300-$400). If this is a Festival Style event where people purchase items at the window, as long as our minimum is met, there will be no additional charge.

Q: What Fees May Apply?
Overage fees apply when you have gone over your invoice total. For example, if your invoice was for 55 orders and we served 60 orders, there will be an overage fee of 5 orders. Price per person overage is stated on each invoice.
