Let’s Grow! Steve’s Hot Dogs is expanding to the Delmar Maker’s District
We love it when a plan comes together!
This fall, we will be opening our third location (!) at Maker’s Local in the swiftly growing Delmar Marker District this fall. We will be joining our sister restaurant The Fountain on Locust, Alpha Brewing and Third Degree Glass Factory in a new event and dining complex.
The project which features a shared beer garden and outdoor space, will offer food from Steve’s Hot Dogs, ice cream sundaes, cocktails & boozy ice cream martinis from a Fountain on Locust spinoff known as “The Fountain off Locust,” and spirits and beer from Alpha Brewing Company. The complex will also feature a new event space and extension of Third Degree Glass Factory.
The vision behind Makers Locale is to create a destination for adults and kids alike, where people can enjoy themselves before or after a day at MADE Magic House or an afternoon at Forest Park. The development will feature an 8,000 square foot patio and beer garden shared by all tenants, and will have a regular lineup of events and live music throughout the year.
Steve’s Hot Dogs and The Fountain on Locust will comprise the food component of the complex. Both concepts are part of HUSTL Hospitality Group and have common ownership.
We are thankful to have this opportunity, to be a prominent part in the redevelopment of that district. We believe that the community that this complex will foster will bring people together along Delmar in new ways.
PLUS… Hot Dogs AND Ice Cream just blocks from Forest Park?! Both of the foods have a historical tie to the 1904 World’s Fair, which just makes this feel like it was meant to be.
Our new Steve’s Hot Dogs location will feature our greatest hits plus canned cocktails, beer and wine.
The Fountain Off Locust, a spinoff concept, will pay homage to The Fountain on Locust - offering visitors a taste of what they can get when they visit the Midtown location. The menu will feature The Fountain’s famous ice cream martinis, decadent sundaes, coffees, and baked goods.
As if this wasn’t already the coolest concept we’ve seen in a while, the icing on the cake is that we’ll get to hang with our friends Alpha Brewing Company there too! Alpha Brewing Company will be opening a 2,500 square foot distillery and tasting room at Maker’s Locale as well. Watch for some cool collaborations between our brands coming soon!
The amazing folks at Third Degree Glass Factory will join us at Maker’s Locale as well with a sweet 2,300 square foot event space that will highlight pieces of artisan-crafted glass created next door at the Third Degree Glass Factory main facility.
